Privacy
Short version: this site has no accounts, sets no cookies, and makes no third-party requests of its own. Below is the detail, including the parts set by the platform it runs on.
Your collection stays in your browser
The Claimed and Passed marks you make are stored in your browser's localStorage under the key sd:v1. They are never sent to us, and they disappear if you clear your browser data.
Your ad choice is stored the same way, under sd:consent:v1 — a preference, not a tracking cookie.
What the server sees
- Page views. Requests pass through Cloudflare, which keeps its own standard logs (including IP addresses) as our hosting provider.
- Reports. When you report a dead link, we store the report reason, any text you typed, and sha256(secret + UTC day + IP). The raw IP is never stored, and the hash stops matching you once the day changes. Two reports on the same offer from the same hash count once.
- Contact messages. When you use the contact form, we store your address, the topic, the message, and the same sha256(secret + UTC day + IP) hash, and hand the message to Brevo so it can reach our inbox. Replies come from the same mailbox.
- Spam checks. The report and contact forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which observes browser signals to decide whether you are a bot.
- No profiles. There is no account system, no email list, and no way for us to connect a claim to you.
Third parties
- Hosting. Cloudflare serves this site and stores the catalogue in D1.
- Verification. Cloudflare Turnstile loads only when you open the report form or the contact page.
- Contact email. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by Brevo, our email provider, which sees your address and what you wrote.
- Ads. Google AdSense serves the labelled ad slot. In regions that require it, ads stay off until you choose in the banner; choosing "No ads" keeps them off. Google's own policy governs what an ad receives after you allow it.
- Fonts and analytics. Fonts are self-hosted and no analytics script is loaded.
Your choices
- Clear your browser data to erase your collection and ad choice.
- Block the ad script and the site still works completely.
- Use the contact form for any privacy question, including a request to remove a report you filed.
Brands and takedowns
Offers link to the brand's own page; the brand's privacy policy applies from the moment you click through. If you represent a brand and want a listing removed, send a takedown request through the contact form and it comes down.
This page describes the current build. If a future version adds email digests or an account, it will say so here before it ships.
