Using this site means accepting the short terms below. They exist to keep expectations honest, not to catch anyone out.
What this service is
Sample Detective publishes a list of free samples offered by third-party brands, with a plain description of what each offer asks for. It is free, needs no account, and comes with no guarantee that a brand will honour an offer.
Offers belong to the brands
- Every claim happens on the brand's own site under their terms, stock, and shipping rules. We do not run the campaigns and cannot approve, change, or chase a claim.
- Offers can end, change their requirements, or be withdrawn at any time. The list disappears an offer when its deadline passes, and reports of dead links are re-checked.
- Brand names and logos belong to their owners. This site is independent and not affiliated, endorsed, or sponsored by any brand it lists.
No warranty, limited liability
The list is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind — including that an offer is still live, that a link works, or that a sample will arrive. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from using this site or from a third party's offer, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use it (nothing).
Acceptable use
- Read, claim, and share as much as you like, for personal use.
- Do not scrape the site at volume, hammer the endpoints, or submit fake reports.
- The report form is for real problems. Abusive use can be blocked by IP hash, without notice.
Advertising
Ad slots are labelled, served by one ad network, and never influence which offers are listed or how they rank. There are no affiliate links and no paid placements.
Changes
These terms can change as the product does; the current version always lives at this URL. Material changes are noted on the dashboard.
